Uniform

Children are expected to wear school uniform every day. School uniform consists of:

• A Rosendale house t-shirt or Rosendale rainbow t-shirt*
• A Rosendale long sleeved t-shirt, fleece, jumper or sweatshirt cardigan (no other cardigans or jumpers)*
• Plain black, grey, navy or denim trousers, skirts or pinafore
• A gingham dress in one of the four house colours
• Plain tights or leggings
• Sensible shoes or trainers (no open toes or high heels)
• No jewellery except small stud earrings

The house colours are: Bannister (green); Freeman (blue); Thompson (red); and Radcliffe (yellow).

If a child arrives at school not wearing school uniform they may be asked to wear one of the clean class spares or sent to the office to put on a clean, spare t-shirt which must be returned at the end of the day.

Purchasing Uniform

The Rosendale branded items (as denoted with an * above) must be purchased from our school uniform supplier Healthy Bean Ltd. Purchases can be made:

• in person at one of the “try and buy” fitting sessions (see details below)

When purchasing online or by phone, you can either have the uniform delivered to your child’s school for you to collect for free or have it delivered to home for a small fee.

Uniform “try and buy” Sessions

At the peak times of year, when new and existing families are purchasing their child's uniform ready for the new school year we will hold in-person fitting sessions.   At these sessions you'll be able to try on, get help with and purchase the school's branded uniform as well as other general items. Healthy Bean will be running the following 'try & buy' session in the summer holidays for any families who would prefer to come and purchase the uniform in person.  The session will be held on:

They will have the branded Rosendale uniform items in stock for you to try and purchase on the day (credit card only).  You do not need to book to attend, but we do ask if families are planning to come if they could complete this short google form it will help the supplier to plan the stock required for the day.

Families can continue to purchase the branded uniform online at any time and non-branded items can be purchased from any supplier.  Please see the uniform buying guides below for more information about the school uniform requirements. 

Lost Property

Lost property can be found in the first aid room.  Every Friday lost property is put out in the playground in the blue hut. Please assist us by clearly labelling clothing and lunch boxes with your child’s name.

Second Hand Uniform Sales

The Friends of Rosendale organise second hand uniform sales once every half term.  We are always happy to receive donations of unwanted or outgrown school uniform.
