School Opening Times

The school gates are opened at 8.55am and locked again at 9.05am.

At the end of the school day the gates are opened at 3.20pm and are locked at 3.45pm.

Nursery

The nursery is open from 9.00 am each day.  The morning session finishes at 12 noon.  Children finishing at noon are brought over to the school reception area for picking up. The afternoon session begins at 12.30pm and ends at 3.30pm.

Reception and Key Stage 1

The school gates will open at 8.55am, children will be expected to wait with their parent / carer in the playground.  KS1 and Early Years wait outside the outer classroom door.  At 9am the school bell will ring and the class teacher will lead the children into class. The register is taken at 9.05am. If your child comes in after this time they will be marked in as being late.

Morning playtime is from 10.45am until 11.00am.  A fruit snack is provided at playtime for all children in Reception and Key Stage 1.

Afternoon playtime is from 2pm until 2.15pm.

Lunchtime is from 12noon until 1.15pm.

The school day ends at 3.25pm. It is important to collect your child promptly.  Please let the teacher or office know if someone else is to collect your child.  Any children who have not been collected by 3.40pm are accompanied to a ‘late room’.

Key Stage 2

The school gates will open at 8.55am, KS2 children will line up with their teacher in the Turney playground. At 9am the school bell will ring and the class teacher will lead the children into class.  The register is taken at 9.05am.

Morning playtime is from 11.00am until 11.15am.

Lunchtime is from 12.30pm until 1.30pm.

The school day ends at 3.30pm. If you would like your child to walk home on their own please make sure that you have completed a permission slip available from the school office or your class teacher.

If your child is going to be absent from school it is important that you notify the school office by 9.30am.  The school telephone number is 020 8670 4962.
